Stepping into 2025, looking back at the cultural highlights of 2024 became the focus of the entire year in Hong Kong. From the Art Month in March, to the engaging ""A Path to Glory - Jin Yong's Centennial Memorial" that attracted numerous audiences, as well as the first Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo(HKPAX) and the release of the "Blueprint for Arts and Culture and Creative Industries Development" in the latter half of the year, 2024 was indeed rich in cultural activities:
The Impact of Arts in March

Unveiling of the " Blueprint for Arts and Culture and Creative Industries Development"
In late November, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department released the "Blueprint for Arts and Culture and Creative Industries Development" focusing on the industrial development of cultural and artistic creativity. Covering four development directions and setting six principles with a total of 71 measures, this policy document outlines the vision, principles, and development direction of the cultural and creative industries, further cementing Hong Kong's position as a hub for cultural and artistic exchange between China and the world. The blueprint includes a comprehensive review of the current funding system for arts groups, including major performing arts groups, small and medium-sized arts groups, and Cantonese opera, as well as the performance venue reservation allocation system, introducing a standard based on performance and artistic level to provide more opportunities for talented small and medium arts groups. The Hong Kong cultural sector expressed support for the Blueprint's release, hoping for the prompt
formulation of specific policies and their implementation.
